The AAF is a phenomenon and goes from strength to strength. It's a real art fest that provides a concentrated creative hit due to the number and variety of galleries who bring out their artists into the light.
Established in 1999 the work showcased is contemporary art under £4,000. The shows attract 25,000 plus visitors.
I will be helping to man the Artichoke Printmaking stand at Battersea on Sunday 22nd 12.00-6.00.
The following week the show moves to Hampstead Health (a new venue for the show) where my work will be on show and for sale.

Artichoke 20th Anniversary Exhibition, Bankside Gallery, London 8th - 13th November 2011

The prestigeous Bankside Gallery sits quietly adjacent to Tate Modern. Its the home of The Royal Society of Painter Printmakers and the Royal Society of Watercolour Artists. It's a home from home for many printmakers who are members and exhibitors and have work for sale.
This year marks the 20th birthday of Artichoke Printmaking set up by Colin Gale and Melvyn Petterson. So, it's entirely appropriate as champions and supporters of printmakers that the celebration should culminate in an exhibition taking over the gallery for a week in November.
Artichoke is so much more than a a well equipped studio with wonderful presses and equipment, it's a vibrant and lively community of artists working on a wonderful variety of work. A place where people support each other, share experiences, skills and techniques. You can't underestimate the contribution that Melvyn, Colin and Megan Fishpool make to printmaking in the UK and beyond.
The work will be wonderful, varied, lively and striking, so come and see the wonders that printmaking has to offer and prepare for a bit of an adventure.
